Dr Roy Thomas

Dr Roy Thomas completed FRANZCR in 2006 while working as a Consultant for Healthcare Imaging Services based in Port Macquarie. He also practised as a VMO Radiologist in the Mid North Coast.

He moved to Sydney in 2010 as a Staff Specialist in the Central Coast Local Health District, providing interventional and diagnostic services to Gosford and Wyong Hospitals over the next eight years. During this time, he was involved in gaining departmental recognition for registrar training and was actively involved in teaching and conducting Chest MDT sessions.

He moved to the Gold Coast in July 2018 to join South Coast Radiology, providing onsite reporting and interventional services across multiple imaging centres, including Pindara Private Hospital and John Flynn Hospital. He was also a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at Pindara Hospital for five years.

Dr Thomas has now returned to Healthcare Imaging Services (Lumus Imaging) and is based at Chatswood and the Northern Beaches.

With extensive skills in contemporary diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiac imaging, Dr Thomas brings more than 20 years of experience.
