Before your appointment

At Lumus Imaging we understand that navigating a radiology appointment can be challenging. We want to ensure we help you feel prepared and empowered every step of the way. Here are some tips:

  • When making your appointment: Ask questions and express any concerns you may have. Whether you have concerns about accessibility or would like further information about what will happen, our staff are here to help.
  • Arriving for your appointment: We recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to ensure you have time to find parking and complete any required paperwork.
  • Let us know: If you have any disabilities or disorders that may affect your examination, so we can ensure your appointment is scheduled at a Lumus clinic that caters to your needs. See Accessibility and Support for more information.
  • Preparation: Some scans require preparation. When scheduling your appointment our team will provide you with instructions — don't hesitate to ask us to SMS or email these to you.
  • What to wear: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. For some scans you may be asked to change into a gown for easier access or to ensure clear imaging.
