Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine scans use a radioactive tracer called a radiopharmaceutical, usually injected or swallowed, to take images using a gamma (SPECT/CT) camera.

MRI

MRI is a tunnel that uses a powerful magnet and radiofrequency pulses to collect signals from hydrogen protons in your body.

Mammography

Mammography or Tomosynthesis produces a 3D image of your breasts, which are used by radiologists to get a more intensive view of the tissue.

Interventional Procedures

'Interventional Procedures' refers to a range of minimally invasive specialty procedures, from simple corticosteroid injections to minor surgical procedures.

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy diagnoses and treats body abnormalities by producing moving images of entire systems. It helps detect blood clots, assess bone health, and monitor digestive tract function.

Echocardiogram

An Echocardiogram, or Cardiac Ultrasound, is used to examine the heart using high frequency sound waves to produce an image.

CT Scan

A CT scanner creates detailed images of body areas using x-rays, aiding in medical diagnosis. Contrast media may be used for clarity. You'll lie on a moving table during the scan.

DEXA/BMD

BMD scans use low radiation doses to measure bone density. Patients lie on a flat bed while a camera arm takes images overhead.

Dental X-ray (OPG)

An orthopantomogram (OPG) captures x-rays of the head/face on film. A panoramic frontal image, displaying a wide view of the region.

Angiography / DSA

Angiography uses x-rays and contrast dye to visualize blood vessel structure and flow by inserting a catheter into an artery.
