Dr John Pedersen

Dr John Pedersen is a Radiologist based in New South Wales’s Mid North Coast and is also a Reader for Breast Screen NSW for the Hunter New England Local Health District and Murrumbidgee & Southern NSW Local Health District. He is also part time at Sydney Adventist Hospital.

Dr Pedersen completed his medical training at Flinders University in South Australia and radiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, SA. Dr Pedersen gained further experience with two fellowships in Cardiac CT at Monash University, VIC and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. He has a keen interest in Women’s Imaging, Cardiac CT, Interventional Pain Management.

He is also actively involved in Breast Cancer research at the University of Sydney.

Outside of Radiology, Dr Pedersen enjoys the theatre, cricket, AFL, cycling, bushwalking, and spending time with his family.
