About me

Dr Abid Ali is a Radiologist at Wimmera Base Hospital in Horsham, Victoria. She attained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, in 2001, before completing advanced training in Cross-Sectional Neuroradiology and Body Imaging at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

In 2009, Dr Abid Ali became a Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Diagnostic Radiology and is currently a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. She has extensive international experience, including roles as Resident Medical Officer (Radiology) at Liaquat National Hospital and the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Studies, Registrar in Radiology at Liaquat National Hospital, Radiology Trainee Resident at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan.

Her overseas experience also includes working as a Specialist Radiologist with Dr Suleman Habib Medical Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Senior Registrar in Radiology at King Hamad University Hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Specialist Radiologist at Bahrain Specialist Hospital, and Radiologist at Northern Hospital Epping in Victoria.

In her spare time, Dr Abid Ali enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.
