About me
Dr Saima Batool is a Radiologist working with Lumus Imaging in Western Sydney, as well as one day a week as a VMO Paediatric Radiologist at Campbelltown Hospital.
Dr Batool completed her residency in Pakistan and later immigrated to Canada, where she completed her Master’s in Medical Imaging at the University of Calgary.
During her time there, she conducted extensive research on the quantitative analysis of brain volume in hypertensive patients, studying data from 10,000 patients and completing six research papers as a result.
While in Canada, Dr Batool was selected for a Fellowship in Paediatric Radiology and Paediatric Cardiac MRI through the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Outside of radiology, Dr Batool enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures. She also has a keen interest in reading and music, and values spending time with her family.
