
Dr Zita Gacs

About me
Dr Zita Gacs is a Radiologist based in Western Sydney at the Fairfield practice. She completed her medical training at Semmelweiss University in Hungary and her radiology training in Budapest, Hungary.
Dr Gacs has completed several Fellowships, including a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Jules Bordet Institute in Belgium, a Fellowship in MRI at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle (including time as a Staff Specialist) and Breast MRI training in Seattle, USA.
She became a Fellow of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in 1992 and attained her accreditation as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1994. Dr Gacs is a VMO at Liverpool Hospital and also works as a Radiologist at Macquarie University Hospital, where she leads the Urology multidisciplinary team and reports prostate MRI.
Dr Gacs has a special interest in women’s imaging, particularly mammography and breast MRI.
